Welcome to the newly reformatted OHL History website! This has been a long time coming and I’m excited that I finally get to share this with you.
As you can tell it all looks very bare bones right now. I was hoping to have been a lot further along with things before making the site public, but due to outside factors in life slowing down things with the page, it didn’t happen how I had planned. I’m considering this a soft launch, as there will be more pages and sections being unveiled as they are ready over the coming months and hopefully things will be a lot more complete by the start of the 2026-27 season.
There are a couple of missing elements that you will notice as well. I’ve decided to reformat the jersey project that I started working on in early 2024, and it will be relaunched in it’s new format as we get closer to next season. The other missing feature are the box scores. While the project has been on hiatus for the last couple of years, I’m considering bringing it back sometime in the near future. There is a lot of work that goes into that and I’ve focused a lot more time and energy on other projects over the last few years. When the time comes, it will get a dedicated page on the new site. In the mean time, you can access the pages from the old blog here.
With the launch of the site, there will be more posts similar to these ones popping up every few months, featuring updates regarding the page, as well as any other news that is tied to the project as a whole. I also may post other miscellaneous things that I come across that can use a home. One of those will be shared here in the next couple of weeks.
